Redline
(formerly RFT 4971) features a disease package ideal
for growers in the
Southeast US
contending with TSWV and Fusarium 3 disease pressure.
Targeting mainly Spring plantings, but also working
well in the Fall, this determinate beef tomato
provides excellent performance in a wider range of
planting environments than most other commercial
varieties. Redline is especially well-suited for
Eastern US
stake culture. This vigorous plant has shown best
results with a light to medium pruning in our pruning
trials. It has smooth shoulders, a very small blossom
end scar, and excellent leaf coverage to help protect
fruit from sunburn.
|

Talladega
is a mid-season variety enhanced by high resistance to
tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV). This tomato was
developed for the
Southeast US
growing regions primarily for the Fall, where some
heat setting ability can be important. In trials,
Talladega
has produced consistently large yields of high quality
fruit. The medium to large plant performs well with
light to medium pruning. In the race for profits,
Talladega
is leading the pack.
|

Finishline (formerly RFT4974) produces
extra large and large fruit suited for a
mature green harvest. This determinate
tomato is well suited for staked
production areas in the US. It
offers high resistance to tomato
spotted wilt and fusarium wilt race 3
for growers in the Southeast, as well as verticilium
and stemphilium. Finishline is well
adapted to the Georgia/North Florida fall
planting slot and has delivered impressive results
in internal trials as well as commercial
plantings. Finishline joins a family
of new varieties developed and designed
with the grower in mind.

and its strong, determinate plant produces mostly
extra large and large fruit throughout the season. To
maximize yield potential, stake culture is
recommended.

shoulders, and fruit quality characteristics that have
been excellent in trials. This mid-season determinate
stake beef tomato also offers high yield, tight
blossom end, and smooth shoulders. The medium to tall
plant requires light to no pruning. Developed in
conjunction with the
