Brigadier offers high yields, big size, and good shipping ability. A favorite of Florida and Georgia growers, this pepper typically produces a strong, erect bush with high yields of extra large and large fruit when supported by a fertilizer program. This variety includes a strong disease package, and has demonstrated the ability to set and size under demanding growing conditions.



Stiletto offers growers protection against outbreaks of tomato spotted wilt virus and bacterial leaf spot races 1, 2, and 3. In trials, this medium dark green, blocky to deep blocky pepper has demonstrated excellent yields and has set a high percentage of extra large fruit on the crown pick. Even under stressful climactic conditions, this hybrid delivered. The trial plants responded well to the application of Gibberellins to lengthen internodes and provide more cover.

 



Crusader has consistently delivered beautiful, high quality fruit for green and red harvests. This dark green pepper has shown excellent adaptability and is recommended for all planting slots in the Southeast US. It typically produces blocky, extra large and large sizes that hold their shape and firmness under a range of conditions. Quality Blocky Bells 



Legionnaire features high resistance to bacterial leaf spot races 1-3. This pepper has repeatedly delivered uniform medium green blocky fruit over wide geographical regions and across harvesting seasons. The vigorous plant is adapted to bush, short stake, or tall stake cultural practices and provides continuous setting of extra large and large sizes. Legionnaire’s fruit tolerates corkiness during cool periods. Widely adapted to Florida , the Southeast, and the Midwest , it holds the green stage without turning color.

 



Encore consistently delivers smooth fruit on a strong, medium plant. The extra large and large peppers routinely make size and maintain quality. Adaptable to a range of cultural practices from Kern County to Sacramento County , this pepper offers excellent plant coverage that protects fruit planted for early Summer or Fall harvests. In Coastal California plantings, Encore maintains its shape and size in cool temperatures, enabling growers to harvest a higher percentage of extra large fruit.



Cypress offers mid season maturity and a high yield potential of large to extra large fruit. This green to red blocky bell pepper features a good leaf canopy with a sturdy plant for increased sunburn protection. It is ideal for warm and dry season summer climates and is slow to turn red.

Hybrid Jalapenos 


Compadre is widely adaptable to most jalapeño production areas in Mexico and the US. This hybrid pepper features an ability to produce high yields with excellent fruit uniformity, and has consistently offered smooth, low cracking, quality peppers in trials. It has a highly vigorous plant with demonstrated tolerance to alkaline soils as well as low and high temperatures. In comparison to other commercial jalapeño hybrids, Compadre typically shows little to no anthocyanin under stressful conditions. Compadre can make export grade peppers during difficult harvest periods when other varieties cannot.

 



Huichol is well-adapted to the jalapeño growing regions in Mexico. It is a high-yielding, dark green pepper that matures early. The plant habit is compact with good leaf coverage and average pungency (1000 to 1500 SCU). This variety works well in the Fresh and Processing markets.


Taos (formerly RPP19110) has performed exceptionally well in Coastal California, Florida , and Northeast regions where environments with low night time temperatures are prominent. This pepper has a highly concentrated, very productive fruit set that generally yields large eye-appealing fruit. It exhibits minimal corkiness with low anthocyanin production. The plant also shows exceptional setting abilities in warm and cold weather conditions. This variety is typically early and lends itself to once over red mature harvest.
Lamuyo Peppers 



Escarlata (RPP 15423) is a lamuyo-style pepper for West Mexico. In trials, this high quality variety yielded firm, very smooth red fruit. The 3 to 4-lobed peppers turn red quickly and uniformly. Escarlata has shown tolerance to STIP and has the ability to maintain sets throughout the season and provide strong yields. The plant is tall with sufficient fruit cover to protect from sunburn.

 



Zarco has demonstrated high yield performance in California and Mexico. This yellow lamuyo-type pepper is especially well adapted for Spring crops. It features strong plant vigor and long fruit in addition to a comprehensive disease package.

 

 

 

Protected Culture Peppers 



Fascinato is a bell pepper for greenhouse production in Canada and the Northwest region of Mexico. It features the ability to set high quality fruits that turn red early in the season, has shown the ability to withstand fruit cracking, and is not typically affected by heat. Fascinato is a steady producer that finishes strong.

 



Tenato (formerly Y01301) is a high-quality pepper for the greenhouse segment. This yellow bell pepper features fruit that exhibit good size and are firm with a glossy appearance. Tenato is a very early-maturing variety with a vigorous plant.

 

 

Specialty Peppers 



Pageant consistently yields thick-walled peppers for processing rings or chipped product uses. This hybrid yellow, sweet banana pepper typically produces large, smooth fruit. It offers high yield potential with the added advantage of high resistance to bacterial leaf spot races 1-3.

 



Aruba is an early-maturing hybrid cubanelle. It produced excellent yields of marketable fruit in trials, even under conditions where making size was difficult. Its continuous setting plant typically provides a steady supply of quality cubanelles over an extended harvest. Outstanding vigor has enabled Aruba ’s erect plant to support its large fruit without overcrowding. The result is a highly uniform crop of attractive peppers that appeal to brokers, shippers, and consumers.

 



Nathalie is a Cascadura type which features firm, thick-walled fruit with excellent color at maturity. This dark green, elongated pepper is a cascadura-type and grows on an upright plant. It offers a heavy fruit set and high yield.
