TripleSweet® Sweet Corn

Providence features long, well-filled, slightly tapered ears and a medium green husk. This main season variety is suited for roadside and local markets as well as home gardens. It is noted for the superb eating quality consumers prefer.

BC 0805 is the first TripleSweet® with the added benefit of ATTRIBUTE® insect protection. This sweet corn matures in about 82 days and has well-filled ears. Typical of the TripleSweet® varieties, the eating quality is outstanding with tender, sweet kernels. With ATTRIBUTE® insect protection, BC 0805 has strong built-in protection against damage by European corn borers, and is a significant IPM tool for the control of corn earworms and Fall army worms. It is also resistant to some races of common rust (Rp1-d).

Serendipity was the first of the TripleSweet® family of products, and features all the tenderness and sweetness associated with the name. This sweet corn’s kernels fill to the tip and are well covered by the husk. It is ideal for the roadside market, and is rivaled only by the other members of the TripleSweet family.

Designed for the local and roadside markets, Honey Treat provides the high quality demanded by consumers. This sweet corn features 8-inch ears that are cylindrical and covered with tender kernels. The husk cover is medium dark green and covers the end of the ear with length to spare.

An All America Selection award winner, Honey Select features tenderness, flavor, and sweetness. This yellow TripleSweet® tends to produce large, refined ears with medium-green husks and good flags. Honey Select delivers high quality ears averaging 8.5-inches in length with 18-20 rows about 79 days after planting.

Avalon is an excellent TripleSweet® white recommended where eating quality is paramount. Suited for local and roadside markets in the Midwest and East, this sweet corn delivers a high quality ear in about 82 days, and offers an eating quality truly superior to all other white se types.

WH0809 is a member of the ATTRIBUTE® brand of products as well as the TripleSweet® brand of products. Similar to Avalon, this white sweet corn produces exceptional eating quality and is especially valuable to local and roadside markets in the Midwest and Northeast. This variety has better field holding ability than homozygous se types.

BSS0977 is a bicolor supersweet with the added benefits of ATTRIBUTE® insect protection. This sweet corn tends to produce high quality ears with delectable, two tone kernels and eye-catching dark green husks. This variety has demonstrated high resistance to most races of common rust and intermediate resistance to Northern corn leaf blight and Stewart’s wilt.

BSS0982 offers outstanding eating quality and ATTRIBUTE® insect protection. This high quality, 82-day bicolor sh2 features a large ear with good color contrast and is designed for the high end shipper and local markets in the Midwest and Northeast.
White Sugary Enhanced

Silver Princess combines exceptional eating quality with the added advantage of mid-early maturity. In studies, this variety demonstrated a tender pericarp and sweet flavor. Its mid-early maturity offers growers the opportunity to be first–to-market to offer high quality white sweet corn.

Silver King features fabulous flavor and tenderness for local market growers and home gardeners. This homozygous, sugar-enhanced variety has a tight husk cover, which helps prevent bird damage. The optimum ear placement makes this white sweet corn very easy to harvest.

Superb eating quality has made Silver Queen the most popular white su sweet corn in America . From its attractive package to its elegant ears and flavorful, tender kernels, this variety provides growers a quality product.
Bicolor Sugary Enhanced

Colonial is a mid-early bicolor with superior eating quality and delectable flavor. Grower’s appreciate this variety’s yield-maximizing disease package with intermediate resistance to common rust, Northern leaf blight, and Stewart’s wilt. Colonial matures in about 75 days and presents a medium green husk with a 16 to 18 row count.

Jackpot pays off with the long ear consumers prefer. This variety is filled to the tip with sweet and tender kernels that satisfy the most discerning sweet corn customers. Its high resistance to some strains of common rust and intermediate resistance to Stewart’s wilt and Northern corn leaf blight makes it a good all-around performer.

Yellow Supersweets

Garrison (formerly GSS3186) features a comprehensive disease package for the Southeast US shipper market. This sweet corn offers strong husk protection, a uniform shipping ear, and excellent tip fill for the Fresh market. Growers looking for a high yielding variety with a strong plant, straight rowing, and a wide area of adaptation should choose Garrison. Its strong disease package includes high resistance to most strains of rust, northern corn leaf blight, and maize dwarf mosaic virus as well as intermediate resistance to Stewart's wilt and Southern corn leaf blight.

A full-season shipper, Winstar features an exceptionally clean plant and a strong disease package including high resistance to some races of common rust (Rp1-d) and intermediate resistance to Northern corn leaf blight and Stewart’s wilt. It has a short shank that pulls easy and attractive dark green ears. Combine Winstar with Camas for same slot harvests.

Overland is a late season hybrid designed for the shipper market. It has well filled, nearly cylindrical ears and very good tip fill. Overland was the first supersweet hybrid on the market with a disease package that includes high resistance to most strains of common rust found in the US as well as Northern corn leaf blight. In addition, it provides intermediate resistance to maize dwarf mosaic and Stewart’s wilt.
Bicolor Supersweets

Double Up can mature in just 73 days. It features high eating quality, great taste, and deep kernels. In trials, this bicolor supersweet has shown consistent performance, good tip fill, and larger ear size than comparative varieties. Suited for the growing conditions of the Northeast and Midwest , Double Up has also exhibited strong results in the Southeast. Its disease package adds to the range of growing areas with intermediate resistance to Northern and Southern corn leaf blight and Stewart’s wilt.

Big Time is a superior bicolor supersweet with high resistance to some races of common rust (Rp 1-d) and intermediate resistance to Northern corn leaf blight and Stewart’s wilt. In trials, this mid-season fresh market shipper produced refined 8-inch ears with full rows of white and yellow kernels. Its dark green husks with medium flags add to the appeal of this eye-catching variety. Big Time matures about 78 days after planting.

Camas has produced an exceptionally sturdy plant, excellent husk cover, and a short shank that tends to pull easy. This full season supersweet bicolor typically matures in about 84 days with 16 to 20 rows of kernels. For same slot harvest, plant it with Winstar in the yellow supersweet category.
White Supersweets

Boreal features an impressive disease package and excellent tip fill. This white supersweet hybrid matures in about 78 days, filling its ears with 14 to16 rows of plump, flavorful kernels. The variety has shown high resistance to some races of common rust (Rp1-d) and intermediate resistance to Northern corn leaf blight and Stewart’s wilt.

Suited for commercial shipping, Tahoe has attractive ears with good tip fill. This popular hybrid has shown enhanced husk length and an ear with 14 to18 rows in trials.

Brighton retains the supersweet shelf life and sweetness, but has far superior emergence even in cool soil conditions due to the TruStart™ trait. This hybrid performs well in the Desert Southwest where ear length and protection from sunburn is needed.

WSS0987 provides ATTRIBUTE® insect protection to growers of white supersweets. In trials, it produced ears filled to the tip with 14 to 16 rows of milky white kernels. On average, this variety produces an ear length of 7.25 inches and matures in about 81 days. It also features high resistance to some races of common rust (Rp1-d) and intermediate resistance to Northern corn leaf blight.
